From a very early age Verena Vetter was an enthusiastic singer – in choirs, ensembles and also as a soloist – and also early on laid the foundation for her career through her involvement in the organizational planning for these ensembles.

While studying German Language and Literature she already began her career in 1992 in the KünstlerSekretariat am Gasteig, starting as an assistant and working her way up as an agent. She has been a shareholder in the agency since 2012, and together with Elisabeth Ehlers she is consistently expanding her special area of singing. Using her intuition, knowledge of repertoire and voices she plans and accompanies the professional career of the artists she represents, according to their wishes, and she is in close contact with organizers and opera houses so as to advise them on questions of casting. She is increasingly in demand to pass on her experience in academies and as a jury member.

Privately she continues to enjoy – whenever possible – the many evening performances as a personal enrichment, and she is also an enthusiastic theatre-goer. With her husband and her little daughter she prefers to spend her leisure time dancing, as well on the playground, hiking in the mountains and the Bavarian Forest, or travelling to other countries where she can indulge her passion for foreign languages, cuisine and cultures together with her family.
