She graduated with a diploma in psychology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where she also completed numerous interdisciplinary seminars in musicology and studied theatre studies with a focus on opera as a second degree. She then took part in a six-month advanced training course in human resources/management at the Ludwig-Maximilians University and completed an internship at the renowned management consultancy Human Resources Consulting, Munich.
In 1990/91 Elene Tschaidse worked as an artistic assistant at Hilbert Artists Management in Munich. In 1991 she founded an artist’s secretariat with Manuela Kursidem, where she worked for KS Francisco Araiza, KS Wolfang Brendel and Mara Zampieri, among others. After she had obtained an agency licence in 1994, the artist’s secretariat was restructured into an artist agency and the list of artists was selectively expanded. Since then Elene Tschaidse has been responsible for the worldwide representation of opera singers in the Opern-Agentur Kursidem & Tschaidse. In addition to the management of internationally renowned artists, special attention is paid to the support of young talents.
